Low down on the kids picture

So on the home page, you know the pretty black and white picture with my 7 children? Ya so most of them are pretty happy, and then there is always one who is sad. The middle kid was miffed because he was getting razzed by the oldest. Big Brother was playing a little rough and it wears on you. So after he walked half way to the car, I coaxed him back, but no smile. Ya it is eh annoying. But he came back! I mean he has to get points for that. If my middle kid had given me a smile on another picture, there would be some major head switching, but no. The individuals were great but different lighting. Head switching shouldn't be done unless the lighting is just right.

I look at my blondie in the front and remember his mind set, "get to the river, get to the river. Do what ever I have to do to get to the river" "She wants me to smile, no problem, I am out of here." So not a 100% effort. Then there is my prima donna. I am kind of amazed at that little girl. What a dolly. The kids were actually really great and it was a fun adventure to the Saguaro Lake (30 min from Chandler).

Kids tend to act better with a stranger instead of their mom. I am great with kids and can help things go right.

So you don't always get perfection, but you get the real stuff.
